Bus walks

Whitchurch is served by two bus routes, operating between Andover, Basingstoke and Winchester and this offers you the chance to leave the car behind and travel further afield to the start of a number of longer and very attractive walks, taking in some of the finest countryside our area has to offer.

Our local buses are operated by Stagecoach, and we are very grateful for their co-operation and support in developing this idea.

Our downloadable bus walk leaflets:

Andover Down to Whitchurch via Longparish and the River Test (6 miles)
Overton to Whitchurch via Pot Bottom (6 miles)

Stagecoach offers a range of ticketing products aimed specifically at leisure customers; these are available for purchase on the bus.

South Dayrider Gold – £8.20 (adult)

The Dayrider Gold (South) ticket allows you to make as many journeys as you like for one day on Stagecoach buses. They offer more value for money than buying a single or return, as you can travel on all our buses within your chosen ticket zone.

South 7 day Megarider Gold – £23.00 (adult)

The 7 day Megarider Gold (south) ticket allows you to make as many journeys as you like for one week on all Stagecoach services in West Berkshire, Hampshire, Surrey, West Sussex, Wokingham and Wiltshire.
